Hong Kong Tree Planting Initiative
June 17, 2016
Each year, BoardPad helps companies to go paperless, but we wanted to do more. To help replace the millions of trees cut down each year, just to make paper, BoardPad have embarked on a tree planting initiative.
On 17 June 2016, The Hong Kong BoardPad Team, along with partner JOS and BoardPad clients, planted 40 sapling trees at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Gardens.
“This was our chance to do something meaningful,” said Phillip Baldwin, Hong Kong Director, ICSA Boardroom Apps.
“Going paperless in the boardroom by using BoardPad, our digital meeting solution, now means that not only will your organisation save paper, which is just one, albeit important benefit of going digital, but it will actually give something back.
“On behalf of every new BoardPad user, the BoardPad Hong Kong Team will plant a new tree. With 11 million trees cut down every day, just to make paper – which is completely unsustainable – we have to take action. Replacing trees is a necessary step forward to help preserve our planet for our children and grandchildren”.
ICSA Boardroom Apps supports companies across Hong Kong and mainland China in taking their meeting paperless, with its digital meeting solution, BoardPad.
