Teens in Crisis receive a donation from BoardPad
April 11, 2016
Teens in Crisis (TIC+), a charity that works with young people and their families, have received a donation from BoardPad.
Presented by Bernard Snow, BoardPad Business Manager for Education, comments:
“On behalf of BoardPad, I am delighted to make this donation to Teens in Crisis. TIC+ is a fantastic charity and we are happy to support it in any way we can. We hope that this donation will help the charity to continue to support young people by providing essential advice, support and counselling services.”
Nia Price, Fundraiser at TIC+ comments:
“We are very grateful to BoardPad for their £500 donation. The money will help Teens In Crisis to continue its work with vulnerable children and young adults, providing counselling to over 1100 young people throughout Gloucestershire every year. In the Spring of 2016, we are launching an On-line/text helpline which will allow more young people than ever to receive instant on-line counselling when they feel the onset of pressures or problems; this will alleviate minor problems becoming major crises, an escalation which is often the result of not talking through problems when they first occur.”
